Welcome to the 2020 – 2021 school year! I am looking forward to working with you all this year to make this a successful year. I’m very eager for this new school year and look forward to teaching my new students.

What you can expect from me: I hope to encourage many hands-on and critical response activities through-out the school year. I will be prepared. I will be consistent in grading and returning papers and posting grades online. I promise to handle all issues in a timely and respectful manner. It is my belief that by us working together as a team students will receive the academic support and encouragement they will need to have a successful year.

What I expect from my students: As with any learning process the student must take responsibility for their academic performance and behavior. Students will be responsible for their own work. Students will be graded on a variety of topics such as tests, quizzes, homework, projects, in-class participation, and activities. Students are encouraged to do their work to the best of their ability; late work will be harmful to their grade.

My goal is that each of my students achieves a sense of pride in their success in my class. Please do not hesitate to contact me at any time regarding successes, progress, questions, or concerns.
