1st Round Auditions

If you are interested in auditioning for either our LMEA District IX Honor Choir or for the LMEA All-State Choir, the 1st AND 2nd Round LMEA audition piece is "Shenandoah" by Steven Sametz (see below).

The auditions will take place on Saturday, September 28th and will cost  $15 to audition. Anyone who makes it into the LMEA District IX Honor Choir will take part in a few after school rehearsals with other schools and will perform on Friday, November 22nd for the cost of $40.

2nd Round Auditions

If you qualify for the LMEA All-State Choir after the 1st Round audition results come in, you will have an additional $15 fee for the 2nd Round audition. The same recording that you made for your 1st Round audition will be used for your 2nd Round audition; you will not need to re-audition. Anyone who makes it to the All-State 2nd Round level will attend and perform at the LMEA Conference January 16th-19th at the New Orleans Hilton Riverside Hotel!
