Organize your files! Create a folder for each class, and then, within each class create separate folders. You may want to organize these folders by month, type (bellringers, writing, etc), or unit. The way you choose to organize is up to you, but you have to pick a way!
Use a planner! You can choose to use a physical or digital planner, but it needs to be something you can access easily. Be sure to mark down all due dates. While this is always important, without the daily reminders written on physical classroom boards, it is even more important that you mark down all due dates!
Have a daily checklist! There are certain things you will do each date no matter what. Create a checklist for these items. For example, for my class, you should check the Google Classroom EVERY DAY to see the daily agenda and check due dates.
Make your name known! If you are editing a document (Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc), the first step is to make a copy of the document. Then, when renaming the document, add your name to the title. For example, if the original document is named "Get to Know Physics," then, you will make a copy of the document and name it "Get to Know Physics -Your Name"
Engagement--It is your responsibility to check your district email, OnCourse and Google Classroom every day. Each assignment will have a due date that is very reasonable given our circumstances, but if you wait too long to check, it will be hard to do well.
Remember absolutely no plaigarism/cheat/copying etc. will be tolerated. I will be using several programs that alert me to where the answer was found. You will receive a 0 and cannot redo the assignment. If you are struggling, email me so you can have help to be successful
GRADES 8-12: A grading system for all major and minor subjects will be used by all schools in determining the credit given for each unit using a letter grade assigned according to a four-point scale as follows:
A - 4 points (93-100%)
B - 3 points (85-92%)
C - 2 points (75-84%)
D - 1 point (67-74%)
F - 0 points (0-66)
