Personal Experience

I am an engineering (pre-medical) student minoring in Mathematics and Physics at Texas A&M University who is on a full-ride academic scholarship from the Terry Foundation.

I have served as an unofficial tutor for 4 years prior to training to become a tutor in May 2025, with 2 years of experience in university-level coursework. I have helped my students understand topics ranging from Introduction to English I to Calculus III and General Chemistry II.

I have a variety of dry and wet lab research experience in Public Health Informatics, Chemistry, and Systems Engineering. Additionally, I grew up with an English teacher as a mother, so I have plenty of experience with writing and persuasion.

For the entire month of June 2025, I fulfilled my lifelong dream of studying abroad in Paris, France and did not need to pay for anything out of pocket because of the scholarships I attained.
