A playful treasure hunt for the 2026 Texas Conference on Digital Libraries
Welcome to the TCDL 2026 Treasure Hunt Game, a self-paced, in-person activity designed to invite small moments of play, reflection, and connection throughout TCDL 2026.
You can play on your own or with others, take your time, and participate in whatever way feels right for you.
A series of Joy Stops located around the conference space.
Each Joy Stop offers:
a short thought about joy
an optional playful or reflective invitation
At each stop, you're invited to share a small Joy Nugget - your own tiny artifact of the moment.
Use this website as your home base.
Explore the list of Joy Stop locations below. Pay attention to the availability of the spaces you are visiting.
When you arrive at a Joy Stop, scan the QR code (or use the short URL) nearby.
Read the prompt and try the activity if you'd like.
Create a Joy Nugget - a word, photo, sketch, or short reflection that captures what the moment meant to you.
Keep your Joy Nuggets in any way that works for you.
When you're ready, submit your Joy Nugget(s).
A Joy Nugget is a small artifact you share in response to a Joy Stop. It might be: a single word, a short phrase, a poem, a photo you took, a quick sketch, something crafty, and/or something you noticed or felt in whatever format you prefer.
Everyone who participates and submits at least 1 Joy Nugget is a winner and gets the TCDL's beautiful "I Found Joy at TCDL 2026" Sticker.
Anyone (or group) who submits at least 3 Joy Nuggets is entered into a raffle. Raffle winners will be announced at the end of the conference.
