Public lecture on climate policy gridlock: On Oct. 26, 2022, TCCS welcomed Rice Univ. Prof. Dan Cohan to campus to talk about his book, Confronting Climate Gridlock.
Climate modeling tutorial: Do you want to add a climate angle to your proposal? Could climate science make your research more relevant? Are you interested in what the future climate looks like? Fall 2022 we held a 2-hour workshop on the TAMU campus on on climate modelling, addressing:

High-resolution climate modelling workshop: TCCS convened a meeting focusing on high-resolution modeling of the Earth system on Jan. 23-25, 2023 on the TAMU campus. We focused on discussions of the future of high-resolution modeling as well as analysis of existing high-resolution model runs. We were also interested in applications of high-resolution modeling to problems of interest to society.
Texas Center for Climate Studies is a multidisciplinary community for climate scientists and scholars at Texas A&M University and other affiliated universities. Our goal is to build on our diverse climate expertise to address pressing climate issues through basic and applied research, and through education and outreach.
