Horse Beginnings Kids Camp
At Texas A&M’s Horse Beginnings Kids Camp, youth will dive into the exciting world of horses through hands-on learning and interactive activities. Campers will explore foundational topics such as equine anatomy, nutrition, communication, and fun horse facts, all brought to life through creative crafts and engaging lessons. Each participant will also enjoy one-on-one time with a horse and a trained volunteer, participating in both ground-based activities and guided riding sessions.
On Day Two, campers will showcase their new skills in a mock horse show, giving families a chance to celebrate their progress. Following the show, parents are invited to an informational session highlighting the many benefits of youth involvement in equine programs, including opportunities through 4-H and FFA, resources for new horse owners, and pathways to college scholarships and future educational success.
