What is Anki?
Anki has been my holy grail study tool since I began attending Texas A&M, and I swear it is absolutely amazing and life changing. Anki is a free flashcard tool that allows you to stay on track with memorization-heavy courses through a tool called spaced repetition, where content is reviewed based on your knowledge. For instance, a topic that you may have more difficulty grasping will be repeated more frequently than a topic that you do not struggle as much on.
I strongly encourage that you use Anki as a method to keep up with both lecture and lab topics covered in this course. BIOL 319 moves fast, and it is difficult to cram hundreds of terms and concepts on a weekly basis. Anki is one of the best ways to stay on top of things and learn large blocks of content without feeling overwhelemed.
I will be uploading lecture and lab decks weekly covering both lecture and lab exam contents.

Things to note (FAQ):
Anki has a paid mobile app to access your flashcards through iPhone or iPad, it is completely unnecessary to install this. Instead, download your card decks on PC or Mac and use www.ankiweb.net for mobile access.
When downloading a deck from my website, it will take you to a Google Docs link, which contains a Google Drive link for the Anki deck file. It will say "No preview available" and give you the option to download the file. Download the file, and launch it and it should automatically upload to your Anki app so you are able to access it on both the app and website.
You are able to edit and separate these decks to cater to your learning needs. What I provide is just a skeleton.
It is most effective if you do Anki cards every day throughout the semester to stay practiced for lecture exams and finals. The purpose of Anki is spaced repetition, so although a specific lab or lecture has passed, continue to practice these cards to stay proficient on memorization-heavy content.
