About

The annual poster session of SETCASA is a great opportunity for junior statisticians in the region to showcase their research and network with their peers. Both statisticians and applied scientists working on problems with a strong statistical component are invited to attend or present their research. We look forward to seeing you there! 

Eligibility

Everyone is welcome to attend the event, but to participate in the competition, you need to be an undergraduate, graduate student, or you obtained the most recent Ph.D. degree after Jan 2020. We expect that cash prizes will be awarded to the top 3 posters.


Session information

Location: Room 453 (Fisher Bowl) of the Blocker Building (155 Ireland St., College Station, TX 77840).

Time: 11:00am - 2:00pm.

Lunch: Food will be served to all attendees and presenters for free during the event around noon.

Poster size: We will provide poster boards of size 30'' x 40''.

This event is organized by SETCASA, with funds provided by the ASA and the Department of Statistics at Texas A&M University. Please consider becoming a member of SETCASA.


Registration

There is no registration fee, and we expect that free lunch will be provided to all attendees.
