I'm Raenessa, a third-year Astronomy student at Texas A&M University. I work with Dr. Ryan Oelkers of UTRGV studying the atmospheric variability of brown dwarfs. I use ground-based transmission spectroscopy to observe transiting brown dwarfs and determine if there is any link between their atmospheric fluctuations and their host star's behavior.
