Pros:
Quality of life!

Dr. Brown is a very involved Campus Dean
Cons:
The school buildng is in Round Rock, not Austin
Highest cost of living
Research:
Lots of in-person and remote opportunities.

Pros:
AIM program!
No residents = almost entirely 1 on 1 time with attendings
Can be involved with future M1 students
Close availability of staff, faculty & admin
No extra moving
Cons:
Take all shelf exams at one time (can be a pro, depends on the learner)
~4 required 2-week electives located far from BCS
Lack of "big city" events, but 1-2 hr drive to several major cities
Research:

BUMC is level 1 trauma center (highest care possible)
Cook's has Level IV NICU (highest care possible)
Agape clinic for volunteering
Cons:
not many pediatric or psychiatry electives available
clinical sites are spread throughout DFW so lots of commuting
Limited study space
High cost of living

Big city so lots of driving across various sites
EM rotation not as great as Dallas/RR
