Descriptive Stats about Me

Howdy! (Hi! 你好! 侬好!)

I am an Assistant Professor of Accounting at Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. My research interests focus on the intersection of corporate taxation and financial reporting, including the effects of tax disclosure on firms’ tax practices, and how various factors influence firms’ tax reporting outcomes.

I received my Ph.D. from Indiana University and Master of Accounting and Information Systems from Virginia Tech. Prior to my doctoral studies, I was a tax senior associate at KPMG in North Carolina, providing tax compliance and provision services for large private equity clients.
