I am an Instructional Assistant Professor in Marine Biology at Texas A&M University at Galveston (TAMUG). I feel so fortunate to get the opportunity to work with some amazing students every day! I teach a suite of courses but lately my focus has been heavily on Succeeding in Science (MARB101) and more recently a new Tropical Marine Botany course where we went down La Parguera, Puerto Rico for an in the field experience. I am a phytoplankton ecologist and my research focus is on phytoplankton and water quality, freshwater bioindicators and more recently I worked on a project where we created virtual educational tools. Check out the links below for more information!
