I had the chance to prepare a research paper last semester (Spring 2025) with the topic "The Role of AI in Modern Food Certification Systems." A nutrition class that sparked my interest in food safety, regulations, and the developing technologies underlying them served as an inspiration for my project. I looked at how food certification procedures are incorporating artificial intelligence to increase precision, effectiveness, and traceability. I now have a better knowledge of both AI applications and nutritional science because of this research. Food being one of the most basic human necessities and AI continuing to influence many facets of our everyday lives, I thought it was exciting to examine how integrating these two domains may improve customer trust and public health. In addition to strengthening my interest in diverse problem-solving, this experience improved my research and analytical abilities.
