Literary criticism can be found in databases like MLA International Bibliography and JSTOR, but it can also be found in books. But how do you get to that content?
If you find a book or book chapter in a database like MLA International Bibliography, you can click on Find Text @ TAMU to see if the full-text is available.
When you click on Find Text @ TAMU, a screen will appear. For journal articles, if there is a copy of the article in another database, a link will be available here. But for books and book chapters, this page will say that there is no online access. Click on the Libraries Catalog button to see if there is a print copy on the shelf.
You'll then be connected to the library catalog, which will show if the Libraries has a copy of the book you're looking for. Here it will tell you if the book is available or checked out as well as the call number. If the book is available, you can click on the Map It button to see where it's located in the library.
For books that are currently available on the shelf, you can see where to go to find that book. This page will display 1) the floor it is on, 2) the call number, and 3) a visual indicator of where to go to find the book.
