My name is David Ethridge, and I am a graduate student in the Master of Land and Property Development (MLPD) program at Texas A&M University, where I will graduate in December 2025. I am passionate about the intersection of real estate, design, and community development, with a focus on transforming underutilized land into purposeful, high-quality spaces that bring long-term value to both investors and communities.
This passion has been shaped through my professional experience as a Land Intern with D.R. Horton, where I worked alongside acquisition, entitlement, and development teams on single-family projects across Central Texas. My work included due diligence, market analysis, financial modeling, and collaboration with engineers and municipalities to ensure projects were both feasible and community-minded. I also rotated through construction, accounting, and purchasing departments, gaining a full understanding of the development cycle from land acquisition to final disposition. I have been fortunate to see projects from the subcontractor, general contractor, and developer viewpoints, and am excited to bring my skills from each experience into the development field.Â
Outside of academics and work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, camping, traveling, golfing, fishing, and hunting.
As I continue my studies and career, my goal is to combine analytical insight with creative vision to deliver responsible, profitable, and meaningful real estate projects throughout Texas and beyond.
