With Brianna, I recognized that we consumed a lot of similar media formats in terms of music streaming platforms, tv streaming platforms, and social media. This is typical of people who enjoy actively participating in social media and or have a presence there, like myself. These mediums are essential to lead that type of lifestyle.
Akash and I seem to have similar tastes in film and video game genres. This most likely leads us to using the same mediums to consume these contents. Due to video games being limited to the console that is able to support it, there are only so many available mediums that we would have in common in order to play these games.
Neha seems to have the typical media that college students her age would consume, including me. She makes use of her smart mediums like her smartphone, laptop and tablet to consume media and most likely to access her work as a student.
I would perhaps include additional social media I tend to use. I originally did not think to include them as I only thought of media that I consumed at a higher rate, but after reviewing my peer's web pages, I remembered all the other SNS platforms that I connect with them on. This tended to be streaming platforms for games or streaming services. When reflecting back on this decision, I realized that while I still have and use social media on occasion, I seem to be the kind of person that hugely prefers just to consume content rather than make it. I am perhaps on equal footing for consuming content that other people create as well.
Additionally, I may also consider adding books as a medium since one of my peers did as well (albeit not as frequently). Nowadays, I typically prefer reading digitally on e-readers rather than use physical textbooks. I do enjoy the novelty of the physical book but the speed of which I read books makes it inconvenient to have a library card (as well as re-checking out books since I might end up in a queue). I found that having a digital copy on hand was always more convenient, cheaper, and I was always more inclined to read and finish the books I had.
