Three common themes
Reason for taking the course: Quite a few students want to take this course to better understand how media shapes and influences our daily lives. (Adarsh, Neha, and Zihao)
Similar media interest - A few fellow students and I have similar tastes when it comes to media. I enjoy quite a few of the same shows, movies, and music. (Prachi, Aarthi, and Nebiyou)
Similar issue - I noticed a few students mentioned the reliance on bandwidth and the internet to enjoy shows and movies on streaming services. (Rhea, Daniela, and Vincent)
Revision
I was able to see the other student's media consumption and realized that I did not get specific enough with my tree. All I accounted for was video and audio but I still interact with social media. I also did not mention the specific devices I use daily or the applications I use to consume specific forms of media.Â
