Peer Tutoring Opportunities
Peer Tutoring Opportunities
ELD English Language Development: Consists of readings, current events, grammar, cultural tidbits, all in English.
ELD AW: Academic Workshop for English learners. Help them with their homework, projects, to study for tests. Much more one-on-one.
In-Class: Be a Peer tutor in a subject with a “cluster” of about 5 English learners in different classes like Science, English or Math.
SMART Period: Ask Ms. McCrea for a SMART pass and come help English learners with their work!
There are two levels of English proficiency between each class:
Levels 1-2: Beginners and Newcomers
Levels 3-4: Intermediate and Advanced
