What you need to do


This assessment is to help you make connections across different texts, and help you make

reasoned and clear interpretations of the connections across these texts.



You must draw connections between four texts (written, oral and/or visual; short and/or extended) must be included. The texts selected for study may be any combination of written, visual and/or oral. You must select at least one of these texts yourself. At least one text must be student selected.

INTRODUCTION


1. Open your introduction with a quote about "Your Theme" that will tie your whole essay together.



2. List the names of your texts (along with the author or director of each) and name the character you will be looking at that makes the choice in each text.



4 BODY PARAGRAPHS


In each paragraph you should describe a character and the choice they make and why, back it up with evidence, and finally what we can learn from each character.
