Senior Digital Technologies Students have the opportunity to attend Techtorium IT and Digital Technologies courses under the Secondary Tertiary Partnership Program (Trades Academy).

Digital Technologies Secondary & Tertiary Program students will attend Techtorium campus in Newmarket, and undertake programs in CODE - Introduction to Computer Programming, and ICE - Introduction to Computer Engineering.


Digital Literacy - Introduction to Digital Management

Year 11 & 12 | Level 2 | 10 Credits

Learning concepts include:

  • Understanding computer software

  • Basic understanding of computer troubleshooting

  • Understanding viruses and related threats

Practical skills include:

  • Installing computer software including operating systems and applications

  • Setting up computer systems for example setting time, changing wallpaper and desktop themes

  • Uninstalling software

  • Running Antivirus software


The CODE and ICE programs include a range of courses, which are available to students over two years.

CODE - Introduction to Computer Programming

ICE - Introduction to Computer Engineering
