Youth Hockey

Complete these three steps to sign your child up for Elementary School hockey:

  1. Become a Member of the TYHA. $25/individual, $40/family

  2. Register for Hockey. $35/child, $50/gear rental*

  3. Complete this MSBSD Authorization to Participate/Release of Liability and pay the $30 Talkeetna Elementary sports fee.


**All non-MSBSD Homeschool students must complete an Athletic Only Registration before they will be eligible to begin hockey** Please reach out to the Talkeetna Elementary School office if you need assistance with this step.


*Some scholarships available for gear rental/hockey registration. Deadline December 16th, 2022.

Scholarship applications are part of the hockey registration form.

Required Equipment*:

  • Helmet

  • Knee/Shin Guards

  • Hockey Pants/Shorts

  • Hockey Socks

  • Hockey Gloves/Under Gloves

  • Shoulder Pads/Chest Protector

  • Elbow Pads

  • Hockey Stick

  • Hockey Skates

  • Water Bottle w/Long Straw (included with registration)

  • Protective Cup and Mouth Guard Strongly Recommended
