Talawanda’s Student Services Department is committed to meeting the unique needs of students with disabilities by offering a continuum of services as outlined in the Individuals with Disabilities Education Improvement Act of 2004 (IDEIA).

Talawanda offers a free and appropriate public education to children ages three through twenty one that meet special education eligibility requirements in one of thirteen disability categories in accordance with applicable state and federal laws, rules, and regulations. Services are outlined in the student's Individual Educational Program (IEP). The services offered support Talawanda's mission of empowering every learner every day.
