Seesaw is the Learning Management System that will be used by our Preschool, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade teachers, students and families.
Seesaw provides a simple way for teachers and students to record and share what's happening in the classroom.
Seesaw gives students a place to document their learning, be creative and learn how to use technology.
Each student gets their own journal and will add things to it, like photos, videos, drawings, or notes.
When there are new Seesaw posts, families can be notified via app notification, email or SMS.
Parents are only notified about their own child’s work, and all data is safe and secure.
While your student will be using the Seesaw Class App to complete their work on their district provided iPad, parents can utilize the Seesaw Family app on their own personal device in order to view your child's work and/or communicate with your child's teacher. Seesaw requires an invitation from your child's teacher in order to subscribe to your child's class. You should expect that communication in the beginning of the school year.
Download 'Seesaw Family' from the App Store or Google Play Store. Don’t have a smartphone? Sign up on a computer at app.seesaw.me.
Wait for instructions from your child's teacher on how to join your child's class.
Create your account to see your child's journal! Make sure to allow notifications to get real-time updates about new posts.
Check Seesaw regularly—you'll be notified about new journal entries and class announcements.
Celebrate your child’s successes and encourage the skills that we are building together at home.
Keep me updated on how your child is doing and let me know how I can be most helpful.
