The career path that I'm going for is going to be computer science, as I've lately taken a great interest in it. I've started learning how to program and have actually learnt quite a bit already with Python and JavaScript, as well as read some books on computer science, which will make me a lot more prepared once I go to university. I've also lately taken an interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and have spent quite a bit of time learning it. I made quite a few small projects related to it and I plan to keep exploring it further as well as adjacent fields.
Throughout my last year of high school, I'm going to be learning more about algorithms through some of the online courses, as well as YouTube, mainly path-finding algorithms as they have sparked my interest lately, plus they are needed for my dream project.
I will also continue watching online lectures and reading books about computer science, as it will prepare me even more for university.
I was a participant in the "Nashia Youth Program" which was a starting point for me in programming, but after that, I started joining communities in Discord (a socializing platform) and making friends that were interested in the same things as me and competing with them on programming related things, namely code challenges, which I became obsessed with for a while.
I will continue to be a part of those communities as I believe that being a part of them is the best way for anyone to avoid experiencing burnout, which is one of the biggest obstacles that programmers have to face.
I might also start going to boot camps once I finally finish university, as university doesn't teach you much about actual programming, rather, it teaches you concepts that are related to that. However, by then I may already be too experienced to be able to make use of boot camps, as they are mostly for beginner to intermediate level programmers.
