About GES
What is the Google AI Educator Series?
GES is standards-aligned AI literacy training for educators across K-12 and higher education. It guides educators from foundational AI literacy to advanced instructional design, with practical, classroom-ready examples.
K-12: 15-minute bite-sized modules that fit a busy school week
Higher education: 45-minute modules with structured learning pathways
Finding time for upskilling amid a busy teaching schedule is hard. GES offers simple, flexible modules on teaching methods, so you can learn without overloading your week.
Delivered by Tajan, appointed by Google for Education
Tajan Integrated Education has been appointed by Google for Education to deliver the GES adoption milestone across Malaysia. This means:
Your school's training is delivered through an official Google for Education programme
Tajan manages the launch, on-campus training, webinars and badge tracking
Participating schools receive ongoing support through a dedicated Google Chat Space and helpdesk
GES is a programme, not a one-off event. The launch at Google's Kuala Lumpur office is the first step. To keep every place meaningful, we ask participating schools to commit to the full journey.
Your school commits to:
Sending school leaders to the launch event at Google Office, Kuala Lumpur
Hosting on-campus training sessions at your school [confirm: half-day, number of sessions]
Enrolling at least 80 staff (teachers, admin and IT) in training
Completing the short Pre-Training Diagnostic Survey before training
Nominating a school coordinator to track progress
Encouraging staff to complete their badge pathway and join the webinars and Monthly Prompt Challenge
In return, your school receives:
Free hands-on training for your staff, delivered at your school
Role-based badge pathways for leaders, teachers, admin staff and IT
Bilingual (English/Malay) facilitation
A Google Chat Space and helpdesk for ongoing support
Eligibility for the High-Impact AI Adoption Award
Your Programme Pathway
The pathway is the same for every school:
Apply and commit: your principal or owner confirms your school's participation
Launch event: school leaders join at Google Office, Kuala Lumpur, with Gemini training and the GES for Leadership pathway
Diagnostic survey: we map your staff to the right badge pathway
On-campus training: hands-on sessions at your school for up to 80 staff
Webinars and challenges: live online sessions plus the Monthly Prompt Challenge
Recognition: badges for educators, plaques for top-performing schools
Role-based badges: School Leaders, K-12 Educators, Admin Staff and IT Personnel each follow a 5-6 badge pathway (full list under Learning Pathways).
Every school completes a short Pre-Training Diagnostic Survey covering tech level, language preferences and administrative bottlenecks. Each staff member is then mapped to a pathway of 5-6 badges that fits their role.
