COVID-19 related

• Gov. Steve Sisolak adjusted some of the restrictions for bars in the Nevada counties of Washoe and Clark which took effect 11:59 p.m. Friday, July 10. These additional restrictions contribute to the effort to help stem the spread of COVID-19 in Nevada.

• Dining establishments are no longer able to serve patrons at bar areas and must continue to limit capacity to 50 percent. Restaurants and dining establishments may not seat parties larger than 6. Outdoor dining is strongly encouraged. Guests may still order and be served alcohol from their table but congregating or ordering from the bar area is prohibited. All bar tops will be closed, regardless of whether they have gaming machines installed.

• For the time being, Nevada will remain in Phase 2, Silver State Stabilization, of the state-specific plan to re-open, Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery. Additionally, effective June 26, the state of Nevada requires the wearing of masks or face coverings that cover both the nose and mouth for all Nevadans and visitors when in a public space. The mandate includes exemptions for those with medical breathing issues or disabilities that make mask use impractical, as well as for children ages 2 – 9. Businesses have the right to ask any patron to leave if they are not following the directive.

• Gov. Sisolak said his Phase 2 directive will be extended for a month, with an update to be shared by the end of July.

• Gov. Steve Sisolak announced that beginning Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 11:59 pm, the state of Nevada has mandated the wearing of masks or face coverings that cover both the nose and mouth for all Nevadans and visitors when in a public space. The mandate includes exemptions for those with medical breathing issues or disabilities that make mask use impractical, as well as for children ages 2 – 9. Once the mandate is in place, businesses will have the right to ask any patron to leave if they are not following the directive.

Among our new plans for CES 2021:

• Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak announced the state will move into Phase 2, Silver State Stabilization, of our state-specific plan to re-open, Nevada United: Roadmap to Recovery, on Friday, May 29. Phase 2 will allow for the restricted opening of more outdoor spaces and businesses and increase public and private gatherings to no more than 50 people while continuing to practice social distancing, keeping six (6) feet of space in between individuals, wearing face coverings when going out, and limiting unnecessary social interactions.
