Research the types of LEDs and how they are used and compare their efficiency to normal incandescent lamps.

In your research;

State what LED stands for
Give some history about how and when LEDs were discovered, and the different coloured types available.
Describe some of the uses of LEDs, both in the past and now.
Explain why LEDs are more efficient than incandescent lamps
Give other reasons why LEDs are better to use than ordinary bulbs
Explain what a DIODE does in a circuit.
