You will write formal or creative text based on a prompt, and edit and revise.
Formal Writing:
1- Writing a persuasive essay: Use P.O.W.E.R. & follow the powerpoint and the 'recipe'; link your paragraphs / use connectives / use P. E. E. L. / be persuasive.
2- ( not in external) Researching for evidence and creating a reference list (APA style)
3 - Editing and revising: Use the Feedback chart / use sentence styles / use punctuation / USE the Checklist
1- Learn the creative writing techniques : use power point 1 and power point 2 and the check list vid 1 and vid 2
2- Write your creative writing using prose or poetry or a mixture of styles
Use the steps of P.O.W.E.R. and using creative writing techniques ('show, don't tell')
3- Editing and revising: peer review and self correct using the feedback chart
