Intended for those who want a refresher, but are already somewhat familiar with how Google Classroom is used in grades 3-12.
Spend an hour learning from Alice Keeler and others by viewing the most relevant (to you!) videos in this Google Classroom: Getting Started Playlist .
Once you have viewed the videos, fill out the Tahoma Technology Learn and Earn Documentation Form--you will be asked to verify your participation and describe how you will use the learning from this course next year to support your own productivity and/or student learning.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Outside experts sometimes give advice or examples that are not part of our district's preferred and recommended practice.* It's always a good idea to consult our Best Practices with Google Classroom document which is updated every summer.
*For instance, starting this summer, Google Classrooms will be automatically created for teachers in August, so teachers should NOT create their fall classes in advance. More information will be shared with teachers throughout the summer.
