Dakota Huffman Instrument: Tenor Sax

I am currently at the University of Washington, pursuing my BA in Political Science, and a minor in Philosophy. I expect to graduate in march, 2021, if all goes according to plan. I am in the process of applying to law school, and hope to attend the University of Michigan (my first choice) in September, 2021. I'm planning on pursuing a career in public interest law, and I think I would like to work for the WA Attorney General's Office. While I haven't played with any music groups at UW, I have continued playing saxophone. it is something that birngs me so much joy - I am blessed to have had the opportunity to be in the Tahoma Band. So many great memories and great friendships made, in and outside our own band. My fondest days were spent in the band room.

Delaney Smith Instrument: Flute

I am currently attending Grand Canyon University majoring in marketing and advertising. I am a member of the GCU Thundering Heard Pep Band! We mostly play at GCU men and women’s basketball games, and occasionally other sports and school events. Our basketball teams are D1 and GCU goes all out for the games, and the pep band is a big part of bringing the hype. School is a lot different this year, but I am still having a lot of fun at Grand Canyon! I am so thankful for my time in high school as a part of the Tahoma band program, it lead me to great friendships and good experiences. I wouldn’t be where I am today without it. Lots of love!
