 All About Mrs. Troha

I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year! My hope is to instill in them a love of learning, and have my classroom be a safe and happy place for your child to spend their day. I know we are going to have a fantastic year together! 

    I am married to my awesome husband, Mike, and we have a 12-year-old son, James. He is in 6th grade this year. I love to run, and am training to run the Chicago Marathon in October. I also love reading books and spending time with my son at the pool/ beach. As a family, we love to travel, fish, and are big fans of the Chicago Cubs and Milwaukee Bucks. We also have a 12-year-old tortoise named Violet.

   I grew up in Orland Park, and I currently live in Lockport. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, and my teaching license from Lewis University.

  This is my 16th year teaching at the primary level. I have taught preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. 

I am excited to be teaching kindergarten for my 7th year at Taft School. It is going to be a great year!
