Notes from TPSMEA:
1. Debussy “Yver”: the words “grézil” and “éxil” should have the final “l” sound pronounced.
2. Debussy “Yver”: m. 42, (NOT 43) second quarter note in the soprano should be a D# rather than an E. In the public domain edition we sent out, there is a typo. It is sung correctly in the learning tracks.
3. Debussy “Yver”: m. 67 in the Bass part, the accents are supposed to be on the first, third, and fourth quarter notes (exactly as in the Alto and Tenor part in the same measure)
4. Debussy “Yver”: General note for all voice parts - For the purposes of the audition, treat all the “Solo” sections the same as “Tutti” sections. That is, have students sing all the notes in their part if that shows up in the audition cut, regardless of the “Solo” designation.
5. To sit and Dream: m. 43, Change the word in the Alto part on the downbeat from “hand” to “you”. This is more logical, and there is a recording supervised by the composer which makes this change. The change is sung also in the learning tracks.
6. To Sit and Dream: in the Soprano 2 part in measure 28, the note should be a B-natural (this matches the harmony in the piano part.)
