1.2 Health and Fitness Data (Health Connect)
With your explicit permission, the App reads the following data from Android Health Connect:
Step count
Total calories burned
This data is used solely to display your activity and calorie burn within the App. It is securely saved to your account so your stats stay in sync across sessions and devices. It is never shared with third parties and is never used for advertising or profiling.
You can revoke these permissions at any time through the Health Connect app or your device Settings → Apps → WatchEat → Permissions. Revoking permissions disables calorie burn syncing but does not affect any other App functionality.
1.3 Device and Technical Information
We automatically collect:
Device model and operating system
Unique device identifiers
App version
Crash reports and diagnostics
We collect information about how you interact with the App, including feature usage, session duration, and engagement metrics, to help us improve the experience.
The App uses Firebase for authentication, cloud storage, and crash reporting. Firebase may collect identifiers, device information, and usage data according to Google's Privacy Policy.
2.2 Health Connect (Google)
The App integrates with Android Health Connect to read step count and calorie burn. We request read-only access to the specific data types listed in §1.2. We do not write any data to Health Connect. Health Connect access is governed by the Health Connect Privacy Policy.
The App uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. RevenueCat may process purchase and subscription status data to verify entitlements, according to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not share Health Connect data with any third party.

Account data is deleted immediately upon account deletion.
Health Connect data is never stored by us — it is read on-device and displayed in real time.
Due to backup systems, some account data may persist in secure backups for up to 7 days before permanent removal.
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover this has occurred, we will delete the data promptly. Parents or guardians may contact us using the details in §10.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

9. Changes to This Policy
