We learned about the contemporary artist Chuck Close and his use of the grid to create large scale portraits. The 6th grade class worked as a team to use their drawing techniques to enlarge an image 5x creating this 6'x6' grid portrait of Mr. Gulisane as a retirement gift from the class of 2027.
