We are please to announce the 2022 TACEC will be held in person! This conference is being organized by the New York Chapter and it was originally to be held in 2020.

The 2022 TACEC will be held in Poughkeepsie, New York at the Holiday Inn Poughkeepsie, in the heart of New York's historic Hudson Valley, from Tuesday, June 28th to Friday, July 1st.

This Taiwanese-American Conference is part of the regional TACs held around North America during the summer each year. The East Coast TAC will the ONLY TAC to be held in the summer of 2022. Members of other TACs around North America are welcome to join our conference by Zoom for FREE.

This year, the TACEC will be held separately from the TANG (Taiwanese American Next Generation) program, which will be held from July 1-4 in West Chester, PA. Information and Registration for TANG can be found at TANGENERATION.ORG

2022年的「美東台灣人夏令會」(Taiwanese American Conference / East Coast)， 即將 於 6月28日 至 7月1日在紐約州 Poughkeepsie City的Holiday Inn舉行，今年也將是美東夏令會堂堂 邁入 第51屆，大紐約地區也很榮幸成為今年夏令會的主辦城市，而也是全北美唯一 恢復舉辦台灣人 夏令會的地區。此次的夏令會本來是要在2020年夏季舉辦的，但因為COVID-19 之故只好延期了。經過多次討論之後，我們決定在今年夏季恢復正常的夏令會。

美東夏令會（TACEC ）是由一群早期住在美國東岸的台美人在1970發起的活動，今年正逢52週年。每年夏天在大學放假期間，租用學生宿舍提供給大家場所相互交談分享經驗和結交朋友。同時也提供第二代的子女有機會 學習和認識台灣文化。由於這種活動很有趣又有義意，所以現在全美和加拿大各地區也都有自己的夏令會了！也由於這個活動參加人多，所以每年就成了台灣名人，政治人物，藝術家有請必到的熱門景點。

今年美東台灣人夏令會（TACEC) 和次代台美人的聚會（TANG）將分開舉辦。後者將於今年七月一日至四日在賔州西柴斯特(West Chester) 舉行。TANG的詳細信息和註冊方法可以在Tangeneration.org上找到。

The 2022 TACEC will be held in a Hybrid format with options to attend in-person in Poughkeepsie, NY and to view the sessions via Zoom. We intend to stream all sessions online and make the recordings available to all in-person and virtual attendees.

This year, we will also be organizing a mini Film Festival consisting of films from Taiwan and US on culture and issues of concern to Taiwanese-Americans. Links to view Films will be available for limited time during and shortly after the conference. All attendees will be sent film links and/or key codes by email.

因為疫情的關係，今年的年會將用混合 視訊或現場參加方式舉辦， 我們會把全部當埸 （缐上或是現場）的過程全程錄影，提供報名鄉親們在大會結束 後兩週內 隨意 觀賞。

除了豐富的演講內容與節目，主辦單位也將舉辦美東台灣人夏令會首屆的”台灣電影節“ 與眾同樂。 在現場與線上安排馬拉松式的放映多部得獎的台灣電影及紀錄片。 這些優秀的台灣原創作品影片展現各種不同樣貌的台灣生活以及台裔美人的生活體驗 。線上與會者將會收到用來觀賞影片的限時網址。

所有公佈在此網站的資訊，會隨著議程/ 演講者/ 影片的變動而做最後的條整。

All Attendees are expected to be vaccinated. Conference will abide by local regulations in effect at the time. In-Person Attendees may be asked to present proof of Vaccination on demand. If attendees are feeling ill, they should remain in their rooms and attend via remote links, foods will be brought to their rooms. Masks are not required but are recommended while indoors and not consuming food or beverages.

所有會議的參與者都須要按照規定打好打完Covid-19 的疫苗。本會將依照當地政府當時的規定行事。如果有議事人員要求，現場參與者應出識打完疫苗的証件。如果參與者有感不適，就應停留在自己的房間內而用線上方式參與。食物和飲料會由服務人員提供客房服務。 雖然在一般場合可以不帶口罩，但是在室內而不在餐飲時，還是鼓勵大家帶口罩。
