Boy

It was a bright sunny morning with a hint of that familiar cold summer breeze. The Boy woke up with a glimmer of excitement and jumped straight out of bed to get ready. It was a big day for the Boy, he finally grew up to become a young responsible adult. When He finished showering, he used the David Beckham Classic Edition Men’s perfume and After Shave of Nivea on himself, which cost him a lot of his savings to buy. The Boy combed his hair like those 90’s Hollywood stars with their untidy bangs and a hairline exceeding downwards. This was what They wanted.

“Leo is the type they love, not Depp”, He told himself, arguing in his own mind, but yet They post about Depp more until that fake harassment case came in.

The Boy went down and had breakfast with his family. They got in the car and went to the Place that makes you respectable. Respectable because that’s what They say along with their family.

Now the Boy is there waiting for his name to be called while hoping they see what the boy has become. He gets his name called and gets his bill of education. They called it a degree. He goes down and his family greets him. Now the boy is respectable and wanted Man. They would surely want him now. Little did he know there’s a thing called money and finance they like too and the Boy got devastated. The Bill of Education was good but not enough because they like those paper too which they called money.

The Boy now works hard for it and puts his whole effort to get money. He neglects his friends and family, and now suffers from stress and anxiety constantly. But He thinks it’s worth it.

“They like big houses remember”, he mutters under his breath.

“but my Family sacrificed their Luxury for me”

“but they will make up for it don’t you see that”.

The Boy now has money but it seems never enough.

He got that car They like and that house They adore but They wanted MORE. The Boy has lost his family and his friends have left him due to his lack of attention. The boy got frustrated and LASHED at them. Telling them what he did try to get their attention and emotionally expressed his own personal feelings. But he told too much, now they're mad. They put a case against him, the Boy is now a rebel against society. He means nothing now but in all honesty, was he ever? Now the Boy is alone and They are happy. They met someone else with a better Bill of Education, a better car, a better house, and YES with more money. The Boy now knew he was chasing the wrong thing.

Many years have passed and He eventually got married to a Her and met new friends. They were nothing special but they are something. The boy may have children but now he knows that She is something special and not everyone is like them. He will raise a child and now He knows one thing too. That the child is unique and easy to care for. She is unique too but She will come to you when you’re ready because your efforts mean more to Her than maybe it meant to your self.
