Confirmation 2024
It is with a joy filled heart that after the preparation, over the past 2 years, of 37 Confirmation candidates, they will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation and be fully initiated into our Catholic community.
On Sunday April 28th, Bishop Emeritus Cunningham will celebrate the sacrament with our candidates and their families.
Our 2023 Confirmation Candidates
Rehearsal
April 14th, 2024 at 11:00 AM
This is a requirement to receive the sacrament.
Rehearsal will take place in the worship space, beginning with Mass, and should wrap up around 1:00 PM. Both Candidates and Sponsors should be in attendance. If sponsor is unavailable a parent/guardian can stand in their place.
Ceremony
April 28th at 2 PM with Bishop Lucia. Please plan for a 2 hour celebration.
Attire is as follows:
Men: dress pants or khakis, button down shirt tucked in, and tie are required. Suit/coat are optional. Any color suit is permissible.
Women: dress, dress pants, blouse or sweater: shoulders must be covered, dress or skirt must be a modest fitting and length.

Anna asks? Why are the colors white and red associated with Confirmation? Confirmation's symbol of grace is the Holy Spirit, expressed in the form of a dove, and the liturgical colors of the feast of the Holy Spirit are red and white. Accents of this color in dresses and ties may be an idea for you.
Candidates and Sponsor should arrive 20-30 minutes before 2pm! Candidates will report to the coffee area of the gathering space. Sponsor may go to their reserved seat.
