Terms of Use

By downloading or using the Muddle app, you agree to these Terms of Use (“Terms”) in full. If you do not agree, please do not access or use the App.
Minimum Age: You must be 16 years or older to register and use the App.
Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. All activities under your account are your responsibility.
“Content”: Any text, images, audio, or other materials that you upload, share, or otherwise make available through the App.
“Agony Aunts”: Designated advisors who provide advice to users. Their eligibility is determined by community engagement and our internal criteria.
“Premium Features”: Features available through subscription, such as private chats, personalized advice, and poll creation.
User Content License: By submitting content, you grant Muddle a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, and distribute your content in connection with the operation of the App.
Content Removal: We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or our community guidelines.
5.1. Permitted
Posting anonymously on the public feed.
Interacting with other users and Agony Aunts.
Using the App’s features in accordance with these Terms and community guidelines.
5.2. Prohibited
Illegal, Harmful, or Offensive Content: Do not post content that is defamatory, abusive, hateful, or violates any law.
Harassment and Impersonation: Harassing or impersonating other users is strictly prohibited.
Unauthorized Use: Do not use any automated means (e.g., bots or scripts) to access or use the App.
Exploitation: Do not misuse or exploit the platform for fraudulent purposes or unauthorized advertising.
Subscription Model: Muddle offers premium features on a subscription basis at $9.99 per month.
Billing and Renewals: Billing is processed via App Store or Google Play, and subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Refunds: Refunds are subject to the refund policies of the respective app stores. No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees with prior notice.
Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you post.
Monitoring and Enforcement: We reserve the right to monitor, moderate, and remove any content that violates these Terms or community guidelines.
Reporting Violations: Users may report violations using the in-app report feature. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.
Ownership: All intellectual property rights in the App and its content are owned by Muddle or its licensors.
License to Use: We grant you a limited, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
“As Is” Basis: The App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Muddle and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
User-Generated Content: We do not guarantee the accuracy or reliability of user-generated content.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Muddle, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.
Suspension or Termination: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. Termination does not relieve you of your payment obligations.
Effect of Termination: Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease, and any data retained by us may be archived or deleted in accordance with our data retention policies.
Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of United Arab Emirates.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of [Arbitration Institution], unless prohibited by applicable law.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
