Join us as we dive deeper into Scripture together during our family group gatherings! As part of our 40 Days in the Word campaign, we will explore different spiritual disciplines and study methods each week, helping us connect more meaningfully with God's Word.

Weekly Schedule & Focus

• Week of October 18 – Psalm 1 Bible Study

  • Reflecting on our relationship with the Bible and identifying what might be stopping us from regular reading.

• Week of October 25 – Inductive Bible Study (Ephesians 2:1-10)

  • Practicing a common tool that incorporates three steps: observation, interpretation, and application.

• Week of November 1 – Lectio Divina (Psalm 23)

  • Engaging in meditative, prayerful reading to listen for God's voice.

• Week of November 8 – Intercalation/Markan Sandwich (Mark 5:21-43)

  • Uncovering how biblical writers use framing techniques to emphasize deeper spiritual truths.

• Week of November 15 – The Big Idea

  • Identifying a clear main idea of different verses and passages as a way to practice faithful biblical interpretation.
