The over-arching objectives of the TLPLC are to:

1. Foster collective responsibility for the TLPLC’s own learning, being an active participant in TLPLC, contributing both as a leader and learner.

2. Collaborate to promote student learning through the promotion of literacies.

3. Promote reflective professional enquiry.

4. Promotion of collective and state-wide capacity as well as individual capacity.

5. Operate with openness, mutual trust and respect, supporting inclusive membership across all Catholic and independent schools in NSW and ACT, and promoting effective networks and partnerships.

The TLPLC operates under the patronage of the Conference of Diocesan Directors, Dioceses of NSW (CDD) and reports to CDD annually on its activities and matters relating to learning and teaching in its sphere of influence.
