Referencing is an important part of completing your research assessments. Correct referencing lets your teacher know that you have used a variety of sources to complete your assessment. It is important that you let your teacher know which ideas are your own and which ideas have come from researching.
At St Ursula's we use the APA Referencing Style.
APA uses the author-date style of referencing. It is a combination of in-text citations and the reference list, which occurs at the end of the piece of work. The two places you need to reference are in the exact place in your assignment where the information is included (in-text), and at the end of the assignment (reference list).
