Representative Pathway Sport
Representative Sport Trial Information & Guidelines
Representative trials are offered to students who demonstrate highly developed skills in their chosen sport.
Only students in years 5 & 6 2019 who display a high skill level and compete in their chosen sport outside of school at a club representative level should apply to attend these Regional Trials. E.g. Randwick Netball Association Rep team/Div 1 player, Coogee Dolphins Rugby League Div 1 player, Randwick Rugby Union Rep squads etc.
- Students must demonstrate a high level of skill and development in the nominated sport (trials are for progression to a NSW state team)
- Students must have experience playing in a regular competition outside of school for the past 2 years minimum and should be a district representative and/or Division 1 / A Grade player
- Trials are not a 'Come and Participate day' - Gala days & Inter school sport are provided for this purpose.
- Selection will be on demonstrated ability on the day – student attendance at the trials is necessary.
- If selected, parents are responsible for supervision and taking children to the trial and will need to pay the applicable entry fee.
