Sign Up for a Session – Check the available times and book a tutor based on your subject needs.
Come Prepared – Bring your questions, assessments, and study notes to maximise the session.
Learn from Experience – Alumni tutors will guide you through subject content, essay writing, problem-solving techniques, and exam strategies.
Stay Consistent – Attending sessions regularly builds confidence and strengthens your skills over time.
The program is open to all students from Years 7-12 with different tutoring options available:
General Support – Available every afternoon for all students from Years 7-12. This is a great opportunity to receive help with assignments, revision, or study strategies in a structured study space.
Subject-Specific Tutoring – Designed specifically for Year 12 students, these sessions focus on targeted subject support and are available before and after school to provide in-depth assistance with coursework, assessments, and exam preparation.
To get the most out of your session, make sure you bring:
Your textbook, homework, or class notes
A specific topic or question you'd like help with
Any past papers, essays, or assignments for review
A willingness to engage and ask questions

What is Speed Tutoring?
A flexible, drop-in tutoring session where you can work at your own pace while getting help when needed. You can:
✅ Work independently while a tutor is available for quick questions
✅ Bring in your work for targeted feedback on essays, assignments, or specific problems
✅ Get help as you go, whether you're refining responses or clarifying concepts
What is Small Group Study?
A study session where you and a small group focus on a single subject or topic together with the help of a tutor. These sessions:
✅ Allow you to collaborate and study in a group setting
✅ Keep the focus on one area (e.g., preparing for an upcoming exam or refining essays)
✅ Are not heavily structured, you work on what you need, with a tutor available to guide discussion and answer questions
What are Homework Tutors?
Available every afternoon in the library for Years 7-12, homework tutors provide:
✅ Support for individuals and small groups, drop in anytime for help
✅ Assistance with any subject or assignment
✅ A flexible approach, whether you need ongoing guidance or just a quick check-in
What are Workshops?
Seminar-style sessions where tutors present content and guide learning on specific topics. These sessions:
✅ Focus on key academic skills (e.g., essay writing, exam strategies, study techniques)
✅ Are led by tutors with structured content and activities
✅ Provide clear takeaways to help you apply what you’ve learned
