How do I buy a Yearbook?

The School Code is 2590. Or you may click "Search by School Name," enter Sycamore High School, and click on the correct result.

How much does a yearbook cost? 

The early-bird price is $55. This is a limited-time price that will gradually increase throughout the year, so order early! We price the book as affordably as possible while still recovering our costs for printing and shipping. 

When will I get my yearbook?

You will receive your yearbook in the spring before the school year ends. We produce a Spring Supplement to cover all spring events and sports teams. This will deliver directly to your home in the summer or early fall after you've received your main book. 

Where are the spring sports?!

 
Since we want to be able to deliver the yearbook in person to students before they leave for the summer, we have to submit our files for publication the printer in January of each year. So anything that happens during the academic  year after that date is in our "Spring Supplement." This includes spring sports, all sports team photos for the entire year (all seasons), spring events such as Prom and Graduation, and an excerpt of the Senior Leaf issue of The Leaf magazine,  which includes Senior Superlatives and Senior Quotes. 

The Spring Supplement is a full-color, glossy magazine-style publication that our printer delivers to the high school during the summer. It comes with an adhesive strip that affixes to the inside of your Yearbook. It is included in your purchase of the Yearbook and Yearbook staff will distribute it during first quarter of the next year. Please stay tuned for updates on that distribution schedule. 

Note: Graduating Seniors will receive the Spring Supplement in the mail during the summer. 

What is a "Senior Baby Ad?" 

A Baby Ad is a way for parents to celebrate their graduating seniors while supporting the Yearbook. You can purchase an ad by uploading photos and a personal message to our site, and we'll print it in that year's Yearbook.

What is a "Senior Photo"?

Graduating seniors have the option to submit a professional portrait for the Yearbook rather than use their district-issued portrait. 

On the Herff Jones site, this is called a "Recognition Ad."

What if I need to change my name?

For underclassmen (grades 9-11), we print the district-provided student name (which appears on academic rosters and in your district email address). To change this for the yearbook, you must go through district channels to complete a formal name change.

For grade 12, we print the name that students submit with their Senior Photo (or, in the event of no submission, their district name). 

The deadline each academic year to change your district name for publication in the yearbook is October 1.
