Fans Are Waiting for a Crossover Between Jujutsu Kaisen and Chainsaw Man

Chainsaw Man and Jujutsu Kaisen are the biggest hits of Shonen Jump in the last few years. Both of them are supernatural-horror manga that has an amazing plot and great characters. These two mangas have been primarily responsible for the mainstream interest in the horror genre lately. Chainsaw Man has recently announced its anime adaptation while Jujutsu Kaisen’s anime adaptation is currently ongoing. Both of them have the same studio which is not surprising considering other similarities between the two.

It is not uncommon for Shonen Jump hits to have special crossover and it has happened several times in the past. Since both, the manga has the same animation studio and genre their crossover will be much easier to execute. Not only will the crossover be interesting but it will be the most chaotic kind of fun considering the type of series they are. The fans are more than ready for such a unique opportunity since they know that they will be great to watch together.

The similarities between the two series don’t just end at animation studio or genre but even their protagonists are quite alike. Most Shonen protagonists are usually go-getter types but Denji and Yuji are different. Both of them get unimaginable powers after they are possessed by demons. In Yuji’s case, he eats fingers belonging to the King of Curses, Sukuna, while Denji fuses with Pochita, his demon companion to become the Chainsaw Man.

The crossover could pit the two demons against each other to reveal who is the stronger of the two. Even the antagonists of the two can come together to figure out a way to defeat the heroes if they somehow find a way to avoid a personality clash. Yuji and Denji, both lost their guardians so their circumstances are also quite similar which will help them understand each other emotionally. The supporting cast of the two can also come together to create a great engrossing crossover that would be memorable for a long time.

Fans are also very excited about the prospect of watching their favorite characters together. Both the series have done remarkably well and it won’t be surprising if the crossover is a huge hit. Jujutsu Kaisen’s rising popularity ensures that there will be more seasons although it has been approved for only two arcs as of now. Chainsaw Man trails behind since it has just recently announced the anime adaptation which won’t be coming anytime soon. If both of them successfully sustain their popularity and hype then it is likely that the fans will get the much-anticipated crossover sometime in the future.
