How to Download and Install Norton on Windows
Follow the steps given below:
● Visit norton.com/setup.
● Choose Sign-in.
● If you are a new user and don't have your account on Norton, then Create an Account.
● Complete the process of Signup.
● Now, type your username and password.
● Tap Sign-in.
● Go to the Norton portal and choose Download Norton.
● Visit the page “Get Started', choose Agree & Download."
● When you will complete the downloading process, search for the file.
● Open the browser and run the installer.
● Choose to Continue if the dialog box '" User Account Control" appears to you.
● Complete the installations by following the on-screen instructions.
Important: When you will select Install, you will need to agree to the Norton Privacy terms and license agreement. It will be visible to you before you click on the related link.
How to Download and Install Norton Antivirus on macOS
Follow the steps given below:
● Visit www.norton.com/setup.
● Choose Sign-in.
● Type your username and password.
● Go to My Norton Portal, choose Download.
● Go to the Get Started page and choose Agree & Download.
● Choose Install in macOS Catalina.
● Choose Agree and Install in Mojave, macOS High Sierra, Sierra, or Yosemite.
● You may choose Join Now or Maybe Later when prompted to join the Norton Community Watch.
● Type your administrator account password when prompted.
● After that, choose Install Helper.
Note: In macOS Yosemite to Sierra, allow the installation to be completed and restart your device. The installation process will be completed.
● If you see any alerts appearing as "System Extension blocked, then choose Ok
● On the page of Norton installation, choose Open Now or Click Here
● Now, move to the Security & Privacy option and choose the icon of lock appearing at the dialog box's bottom.
● Type your administrator account password
● Choose Allow when prompted to the message written as " System software from developer Symantec was blocked from loading.
● Choose Allow > Symantec and then click on Ok when prompted to the message written as "Some system software was blocked from loading."
Note: In macOS High Sierra, Sierra, Mojave, or Yosemite, open the Norton security installation page and choose Continue. After that, you will need to restart your Mac device.
● Now, restart your Mac.
● After you restart your Mac, choose Open Preferences on the Norton Installation page.
● Then, choose the lock icon visible at the bottom of the dialog box Security & Privacy.
● Choose Unlock on being prompted and type your administrator account password.
● Choose Allow when you see the message " System Software from Norton 360 was blocked from loading".
● Choose Open preferences on the Norton installation page.
● Choose Norton System Extension in the Security & Privacy dialog box to enable the feature.
● Choose the option Complete on the Norton Installation page.
How to Activate Norton
Follow the steps given below:
● Visit norton.com/setup.
● Click on Device Security.
● Tap on Open.
● Tap on Activate Now on the main screen.
● Tap on Next.
● In the My Service PIN, enter the Activation Key you have received from your Norton service provider.
● Tap on Activate.
● Enter your computer's name.
● Tap on the Activate button.
● Exit the window Activation Complete.
● Tap on Finish.
