The Virtual Classroom
The Virtual Classroom features important links that could be used throughout the school year. Some of these resources include helpful videos, a relaxation center, and a virtual library with many audio books! There are also a few fun surprises hidden throughout the classroom. Students are able to access the Virtual Classroom at any time.
Google Classroom
Students will utilize Google Classroom to log their attendance and submit major assignments. Google Classroom is used daily! Parents will be added to their student's Google Classroom account.
Newsela
Newsela is an online resources with thousands of relevant articles. Articles can be found through filters such as lexile level, subject, language, and interest. There is an article for everyone on this website! Students can take online quizzes, and complete open ended questions about the material they read about. This is a great resource for students who struggle with reading informational texts.
No Red Ink
No Red Ink is an educational website that is designed to help students who are struggling with their writing skills. Using engaging content, No Red Ink provides students with specific grammar lessons, practices, and online assessments.
Khan Academy
Khan Academy features in-depth instructional videos and quizzes. Not only is Khan Academy great for improving grammar, reading, and writing skills, the website also contains videos for various subject areas and test preparation. This a great resource for other subject areas and ages as well!
