Miss Poulson's 4th Grade Class

Harker School uses the theme Comet Pride as part of Character Education and Positive Behavior Support in Schools (PBSIS). The program encourages students to demonstrate, promote, and celebrate Comet Pride.

Our classroom thrives on respect. We can show respect to ourselves by working hard and to others by showing kindness and understanding. We can also show respect to our environment by keeping our spaces tidy. To reward students for their respect, our class chooses a daily "Spotlight Student." The Spotlight Student has their name displayed on our morning slide and they are rewarded with a Comet Cash ticket and a certificate that goes home.

Students are also rewarded in our class room for positive interactions with a ticket system. The tickets earned can be spent in our class store on items and coupons we decide on as a class throughout the year. Students strive to earn both classroom tickets and Comet Cash all year long!
