Meet your Teacher

Welcome to our Kindergarten classroom! I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! ! A little bit about me, my name is Tyla Cielinski and I'm very happy to be at Clifford where "Our Adventure Begins!" I absolutely love teaching Kindergarten, it is my favorite of all the grades that I have taught!

I have a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Reading/ESOL. I love to teach and learn new things with my students throughout the school year. I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade (Math/Science) & 5th grade (ELA/Social Studies). We are going to learn and grow so much this year together!

I grew up in Connecticut before becoming a "Jersey" girl. I have four daughters (you'll hear all about them) and am a Woolwich resident so you'll see me around town, at Kingsway football games (Friday night lights watching my youngest daughter dance). You'll most likely find me at one of our local Dunkin' stores. I love coffee! My daughters and I also love to visit the beach, our favorite shore spot is Wildwood Crest. We spend many days enjoying the sun and sand in the summer. In January my oldest daughter had my first grandson and I am in love! He is such a joy and brings a different love to our lives!!!!

SOME OF MY FAVORITE THINGS:

Food: Tacos (who doesn't love Taco Tuesday)

Travel: Wildwood Crest & Family Visits to Connecticut & California (it's where my sister and dad live)

Color: Pink (If it comes in pink I will buy it!)

Drink: Coffee, Water and Diet Coke sometimes I have all three going at the same time :)

Season: Summer, but Fall is a close second because I love back to school season

Fast Food: Chick-Fil-A (I just wish there was one closer) & McDonald's fries

Animal: Dog (I have two Charlie and Frank, you will be hearing a lot about them) but Octopus is my favorite sea animal
